A relaxing and deep class to experience accessing the unconscious through the body with gentle movement and meditation. Continue the nights practice into your dreaming life.

Dragon Rises, Red Bird Flies is a mythology of the Shen / Heart spirit, one of the Daoist Five Spirits.

The Red Bird, the spirit animal of the Heart and Fire element in ancient Daoist healing, resides in the heart but can move through time, space, and myth. It prefers to be near people but transforms into a Dragon when danger approaches, extending itself to the edge of the universe from the entry to our heart space.

The Red Bird grants access to what is inherently within and around us but which we have lost touch with. It reconnects us with ourselves in a new way, allowing us to transform our story and timeline into a meaningful experience we can gradually integrate and understand.

We will explore this theme through gentle body movement and awareness.

Supporting you to create mind-body integration, and engage the subconscious to gain insight, relieve symptoms of emotional and psychological imbalance, initiate action, and solidify change.

About the facilitator

Jemma Doak

Jemma has over twenty years experience working with clients on personal and psychological issues using established and varied psychotherapy and counselling modalities combined with mindfulness, movement and body awareness methods. This offers an increased focus on body/somatic experiences and an individuals unique experience and process. Jemma seamlessly weaves somatic psychotherapeutic techniques, with neuroscience and ancient wisdoms in a gentle, trauma informed and trauma sensitive environment. This approach and method is highly effective.
